Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, Bosniaks are one of the largest, globally widespread and socially best organized immigrant groups from Ex-Yugoslavia. The reason for the abundance and distribution, as well as the organization, the Bosniaks Diaspora can be found in the forced displacement / emigration of Bosniaks, which was not only a consequence but also a direct target of genocide against this people and aggression against their homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina during 1992-1995. Expelled from their native places and their homeland, Bosniaks followed similar patterns of refugee groups in modern history: they become formed primarily as a political Diaspora, whose existence and political being were directly tied to the destiny of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this article - based on ethnographic research of Bosniaks immigrant groups in Australia, North America and Europe - author describes a global profile and particularity of Bosniaks Diaspora as a part of ex-territorial Bosniaks corpus, and offers insights into the ways of their political activities directed towards the promoting and preserving the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the purpose of creating favourable conditions for a dignified return to ones home and country.
