Summary/Abstract: Political ideology in the Czech literature seems to be an obligatory artistic standard from the end of the 40s in the 20th century, but its origin is much older. Due to the interconnection of culture and politics, culture is interpreted as an instrument for re-education and interruption of the frontier between life and art. The Czech experimental prose reacts to this connection of the real and fictitious worlds, it intentionally changes its literary character into hyperbole by finding themes in speech, inter-textual context and in the act of creation. The experimental prose used to be the popular genre in e.g. French literature, but it lacked the totalitarian terror experience which added profundity and authenticity to the Czech experimental prose. This can be seen in the works by Vladimír Páral, Josef Jedlička, Ivan Vyskočil and mainly Věra Linhartová.
