Summary/Abstract: The study addressed the issue of mutual relationship of volunteering in relation to experienced satisfaction with life and job satisfaction. The problem was verified empirically. The study involved 60 adult volunteers and 60 non-volunteers, professionally active. The Satisfaction with Life Scale, the Scale of Satisfaction at Work and sociodemographic survey were applied. The correlation analysis (Spearman rho rank correlation) and the inter-group comparison test (Mann-Whitney U test) were used. The results obtained indicate that volunteers are characterized by significantly higher life satisfaction. In the case of job satisfaction, the required level of statistical significance was not obtained.
