Summary/Abstract: The text attempts to describe a group of young persons, being outside the ob market and the system of education. The article presents characteristics of individual,social and economic factors, determining resignation from activities typicalfor young adults. The issue of belonging to NEET was situated in the perspectiveof developmental features of young adults. An important part of the article is presentation of educational solutions, minimising educational, professional and socialpassiveness of NEETs.
