The author focuses on the more relevant interpretations of the Supreme Court of Lithuania, which are significant to forming a unified case law, concerning with possession of narcotic and psychotropic substances. The article describes in more detail the issues of criminal jurisdiction, the subject of a criminal offense, the precise determination of the amount of substances, the imposition of sentences and other problematic issues of these criminal acts. In the article the author presents the specific rules formed by the Supreme Court of Lithuania, how to apply the provisions of the Criminal Code in the different criminal cases.
