The article focuses, inter alia, on the main features of this segment of the national labour market including economic activity rate and unemployment rate by sex, age, and education levels. The author also reports on the structural changes of the rural labour market, migration, grey economy and hidden unemployment. The article is based on the statistical data provided by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) and academic research papers.
