Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the period of guerrilla fighting of the “Bończa” squad of the Home Army, during operations “Tempest” and “Rain”. That period is the second half of the year 1944, when the front of the German-Soviet war stabilised along the Vistula river. During that time the home front was a difficult problem for Germans and so they kept provoking fights with the guerrilla units, counting on the victory. However, it was the “Bończa” squad which derived profit from these fights, particularly in the largest operation near Stefanów, referred to as “Waldkater” by Germans. The “Bończa” squad continued the fights until the front was broken by the Soviet forces in January 1945.
