Summary/Abstract: The standardization process in the NATO has been considered in the interaction with the NATO defence planning process and is recognized as a principal thesis of this research paper since it works as a primary tool for interoperability enhancement. The main objective of the research is, by exploiting scientifically well-founded analysis of standardization in NATO as well a dependence model which takes into account its seamless relations with Force Goals (NATO Force Planning Process) remaining in correlation with NATO defence process, to confirm the effects of compatibility of these processes. The research problem is based on the question: How is the standardization policy implemented at Institutions and the NATO Command Structure as well as within dedicated NATO Force Structure with the main aim to create desirable conditions for development of the Military Standardization Requirements (the MSRs) for the Force Goals (the FGs) in harmonization with the standardization process Force Goals Cycle (FGC). It worth highlighting that in the course of the research commonly recognized methodological principles (systemic analysis, modeling) were applied to choose the capabilities driven model of NATO force structure limited by military standardization requirements (effects based approach EBA), irrespective of the influence of theories concerning threat assessment driven model (Threat Assessment Approach).
