Summary/Abstract: In this article author explains the need to utilize radio among the youngest media users. Recent surveys regarding radio listening habits are presented and attention is drawn to the necessity of media education among kindergartners. Author presents additionally radio’s pedagogical role and its positive character in children’s education. At the end author describes results of a self-conducted survey regarding kindergartners’ parents opinion on the role of radio in the youngest education process.
