Summary/Abstract: The concept of social transition deals with the process of passing from one society to another. It is a reality of contemporary world, it is linked to the mere dynamics of the current development. This article concludes that transition in Romania is not over, it continues, and the appearance of some new objectives such as the integration to the EU imposes continuing transition.
