Summary/Abstract: The process of political mobilization of population as finishing stage of democratization of society is studied. Citizens’ trust for democratic institutions is defined as a basic factor of political mobilization of the population. Ukraine has not implemented the task of co-operation of citizens in voluntary associations. The reason for this is the low level of trust in democratic institutions.
