Summary/Abstract: Gamification involves the use of design elements specific to games in contexts other than games. One of the very promising areas for its use are tourist attractions, where it can be used to increase the motivation to make a visit, bring visitors’ attention to specific exhibits, influence the date of a visit and shape its course, and improve visitor satisfaction during and after the visit. The best effects of the implementation of gamification can be achieved provided that it is not only adjusted to the specifics of the tourist attraction, but also to its current offer for the visitors, the current season or special events. In practice, this means that it is necessary to make it possible for the managers of tourist attractions to modify the rules of gamification in a quick and easy way. Such functionality can be provided by a gamification management system for tourist attractions. The subject of this article are design dilemmas related to the construction of such a system.
