Summary/Abstract: The achievement of independence by Poland was preceded by WWI. The Kingdom of Poland was subjected to games between empires, which, in turn, contributed to the dissolution of our country executed by Prussia, Austria and Russia. This situation triggered an energetic reaction from Nikolai Klyuev and Sergei Yesenin. Among their oeuvre we may find poems about Poland in which Slavophilistic and pan-Slavist views are visible. Analysis of these poems perfectly suits postcolonial discourse.
