Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will explore the theme of ascetic demonology in the spirituality of the desert. The monastic demonology is understood as an ”invisible war” throuh the monk achieves the spiritual progress. Also, as we will see, the language of Christian demonology is characterized by a set of spiritual exercises: prayer, fast, vigils, spiritual combat and so on. This theme remains a major subject in the spirituality of the desert.
