Summary/Abstract: The article describes the late essays by Maria Kuncewiczowa entitled Przeźrocza (Slides) in the context of the essay regarded through the prism of gender studies and in the context of the relations between essay and autobiography. The essayistic project by Kuncewiczowa is connected with abandoning the autobiographical aspect and choosing her original version of senile feminine essay understood as the sketchy, anty-erudite text, which is dominated by specific formula of metaphorism as encoding the metaphysical senses within the description of quotidian details.
