Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of migration is the subject of research in many fields of science. This article attempts to present this phenomenon in the light of Christian–Muslim dialogue. Presence of the phenomenon of migration in media, using shortcuts of thought and suggestive images may lead to the conclusion that the current migration among the Islamists is a phenomenon not only new but also dangerous for the future of Europe. The first part of the article portrays shortened history of migrations, their most important stages and directions of people’s movement. It occurs that without migration continents would not be populated. What is more, economic and cultural development would be impossible. In the second part of this article an attempt to systematize the phenomenon of migration was made. Furthermore, theological structures and mostly positive aspects of migration perceived through the prism of God’s revelation were presented. The last part of the study is devoted to the meeting of Christianity and Islam as religions that should dialogue in conditions of European migration crisis.
