Úvahy nad otázkou platnosti Duvergerových hypotéz
Reflections on the Validity of Duverger´s Hypothesis

Summary/Abstract: This paper introduces the over a half century lasting discussion about so called Duverger´s hypothesis. In the very first part of the paper, there is an introduction to Duverger´s hypothesis. After this introduction, the paper mentions some examples of the re-examination of Duverger´s hypothesis and its critics. Finally, there is an example of the experience of the process of democratization in the Central and Eastern Europe where there is obvious the indefensibility of Duverger´s hypothesis at all.
