Contemplating the time from the heart of poetry

Summary/Abstract: This chronicle concerns the poems of the last volume of the poetess Rodica Braga, with a title suggesting the main theme. The Romanian poetess does not consider the infinite dimension of the time, intended for complications and, not a few times, arid philosophical meditations, but his most trivial fragment, the day, which we expect to come and let it pass through us, transforming us imperceptible but profoundly, until the accumulation of what we call astonished that it was our life. The theme of time is interwoven with the theme of death and the grave tone or else profoundly emotional alternates with the bitter irony specific to the Stoic. To this is added the Socratic theme of self-knowledge, augmented with dramatic accents of Nietzschean reflections.
