Summary/Abstract: In the article the author analyzes some ideologemes of the current political discourse in Polish print media which are the basis of narrationof two competing weeklies – "Newsweek Polska" and "Sieci prawdy". The linguistic analysis of the semantic field of the ideologemes is prefaced with a brief description of the political and media situation in Poland, underlining the dichotomy in political and media spheres affecting the narration in print media.
