Summary/Abstract: “We may ask the question whether Krúdy’s “mistake” was deliberate, and perhaps he changed the time of his father’s death for other, not everyday considerations?” Gyula Krúdy is one of the most influential prose-writers of twentieth-century Hungarian literature. The study is about one of his novels enumerating autobiographical as well as fictitious elements and examines the autobiographical structure in Krúdy’s works.
