Summary/Abstract: In this study we provide an overview of the work related to the birthplace of one of the most significant Macedonian writers and scientists of the 20th century, Blazhe Koneski. The offered markers Zlatovrv, King Marko and Marko’s Towers, Nebregovo and its area, and the town of Prilep only confirm our understanding that a large part of his works, as well as some of the most significant works in Macedonian literature, written by Koneski, refer to, and are written under the direct influence of the traditions and memories of the author from his native land and his youth.
