Summary/Abstract: Till this time unknown locality Římův Újezd was ascertained in oldest matrix rectory Chotěšov (district Plzeň-south) in entries from 1620’s and 1630’s. In the surrounding there are today three villages called Újezd: Červený (,red‘), Kamenný (,stone‘) and Vodní (,water‘). According to fisherman and miller living in this area, we succeed to determine that Římův Újezd is identical with Vodní Újezd as well as with Velký (,big‘) Újezd known from the 14th century.
