FACTORS AFFECTING REMUNERATION 2 AND EMPLOYEES’ WORK TIME

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to identify factors affecting the working 4 time and remuneration of employees of both genders (men and woman) in 5 Poland. The salary and professional activity models contain explanatory 6 variables representing the characteristics of employees and the structure of 7 their families as well as the attributes of the workplace. The research was 8 carried out on the basis of BAEL1Q2009 data concerning persons providing 9 work during the month preceding the survey. On the basis of the estimated 10 models, the determinants characteristic for women and men are distinguished.
