Summary/Abstract: One crucial part of the Bolshevik political strategy is focused on the creation of a public opinion in the West in favor of the USSR. Huge financial and intellectual resources are invested in order to achieve this goal. It is done with the help of some of the most notorious intellectuals in France, Great Britain and the USA.(Such figures, to name a few, are Louis Aragon and Jean-Paul Sartre ; George Bernard Show and Herbert Wels, Michael Duranty and Earl Browder…)Seduced by money, fame, publications of millions of copies of their books, along with luxurious vacations and royal treatment in Soviet Russia -- these leftist spokesmen of Stalin actually denounce the fundamental values of Western intellectuals – humanism, critical thinking and civic activism. The Soviet propaganda uses two main avenues for its goals. The first on is the falsification of the Ukrainian genocide, the man-made famine, called Holodomor, prior World War II; the second one is the denial of the system of labor camp terror, represented by the history of the GULAG, which is the main topic of contest after the war. The Bolsheviks are able to corrupt a number of famous western intellectuals. Through them, they are able to convey to the world one of the most falsified picture about the society that they oppress and terrorize during more than 70 years.
