Summary/Abstract: The Industrie 4.0 was first used in 2011 at the Hannover trade fair. It presents a draft strategy for the development of the German economy, in which the innovative computerization of production processes is to play a key role. 7 years have passed since this announcement and specialists assess the possibilities of these changes, also in the conditions of the Polish economy. The authors of the article focus on changes in human resource management and the ability to measure the achieved order of the organization's functioning against the challenges of a globalizing economy
