Summary/Abstract: Food industry is changing from a qualitative, quantitative and structural point of view. This paper presents some aspects concerning food industry under the conditions of market economy and the possibilities to improve the economical activity through investments, as a factor to ensure the qualitative development and the promotion of technical progress.
