Revealing Theatrical Worlds

Summary/Abstract: There is a tradition of theatre-history research in Cluj. Perhaps the most important initiator of this research is Professor Dr Emese Egyed, from the Institute of Hungarian Literature of the Babeș–Bolyai University, who has been publishing writings in this domain and coordinating theatre-history dissertations for several decades. Her volume Láttató világok (Revealing Worlds), published in 2014 contains a collection of studies from the last ten-thirteen years, with a variety of themes concerning issues​ from the 16th-19th centuries. Katalin Ágnes Bartha is the author of the review.
