Summary/Abstract: In John Petrovici’s philosophical vision, science and philosophy have the same object of study: the reality; but the sciences analyze the aspects more or less perceptible of the reality, and philosophy makes the hypothesis about its deep and complex aspects. Over, the philosophy is different from science through its critical attitude regarding knowledge. At the same time, the philosophical spirit is deeply tolerant. Because philosophy expresses an ideal, it is a condition for the possibility, and a sphere for the creation of values, which permanently orientate human life. Also, philosophy represents the domain of ideas, which is the basis of any civilization. As a result, philosophy will never die but it will always be an essential element as part of the human existence.
