Summary/Abstract: Being one of the family members for a long time under conditions of prison isolation becomes a factor that violates, to varying degrees, the family's existing functioning and hinders or disturbs social relations. Separation from the closest relies largely on the behavior of individuals and the functioning of the family as a whole, and in particular prevents other members from fulfilling certain family tasks and roles, although there are painful experiences and lack of positive references to events that took place in the family.
