Summary/Abstract: This article is part of a linguistic study whose objective is to demonstrate the compositionality or non-compositionality of some collocations in the ecological domain (environment) whose structure seems fixed, i.e. noun + adjective. We shall see that the compositionality of the analysed expressions has many sources and goals, as well as the consequences that the speaker / interlocutor do not understand instantly. The subjects of our analysis are: the association process, the type of association, the established models, and will be developed, interpreted and, hopefully, resolved by illustrating this process through various contexts.
