A comparative analysis of digital images of icons from the collection of CNM ASTRA Sibiu

Summary/Abstract: During this period when the computer came in all spheres of activity, we think beyond the area of information management, non-destructive analysis and minimally invasive digital type, can open new roads extremely useful in applications which means historiography of art. In this regard, in an exercise of imagination, we believe that we can turn to two new research pathways icons glass panel or by means which so far are predominantly used in forensic research.Of the many ways in which forensic calls to our sphere of interest we believe that we can have good results calling, as I mentioned, the two lines of inquiry. One is the digital image analysis or comparative approach to images using the facilities that we offer specialized software for viewing and image processing also underpin biometric facial recognition technology and the other graphical analysis through comparative analysis, the author seeks to establish a written text. Obviously, we think of both methods as possible alternatives research and necessarily adapted to the goal we have set. Our article makes a comparative analysis of digital images of icons from the collection of CNM ASTRA Sibiu, some signed Savu Moga and others attributed to this great painter.
