Summary/Abstract: This article is an analysis of the linguistic and educationalpolicies promoted by Transnistrian authorities and therepercussions of educational strategies on the realizationand respect of education rights of Moldovans living on theleft bank of the Dniester. Author consider that the mostimportant problems that have been proliferated over time atthe educational level in the Transnistrian region are:1.Ensuring the right to education in the mother tongue forMoldovans in the formula developed by Tiraspol (Moldovanlanguage with Cyrillic script); 2. Situation of Moldovanschools with teaching in Latin script, and 3. Integration ofthe studies obtained by the inhabitants from the left bank ofthe Dniester River into the educational system of theRepublic of Moldova and recognition of the diplomasissued by the institutions subordinated to theunconstitutional authorities in Tiraspol.
