Summary/Abstract: This essay is survey on the critical perspectives of the Marin Preda’s novels. For instance, the author thinks that the curiosity of N. Manolescu has clear boundaries. The critic does not have the vocation of research and reconstitution of contexts, but only of the (re) reading of materials at hand. Some of his remarks on the literature before the Restoration remain superficial notes, because they ignore the concrete effects of the existence of censorship.
