Summary/Abstract: Aim of this article is to analysing the book of The Integrative Approach to the Confirmation of Ḥadīth written by Mehmet Apaydin who offers a new system. His approach differs from classical ḥadīth science by ignoring the jarh and ta‘dîl and taking liar narrators into consideration. It decides that a ḥadīth is sound or weak at the end of the fiction he formated by considering isnad and scientific data. On the other hand, althouhgh Apaydin accepts that science of hadîth achieved a tremendous role in the history, he argues that this system has no longer been sufficient to solve the problems relating the the narrations and he tries to show problems of science of ḥadīth in a chapter. In this article, I shell put the deficiencies to set forth a fiction, stemming from liar narrators, which were introduced to system by the author and the problems of the single narrations. I also shell study the two terms, “remain neutral” and “cautious confidence” which were corner stones for the system, whether or not they could seperate the sound ḥadīth from the fabricated one.
