Summary/Abstract: The topic of interest in the present work is the process of international female migration. I chose this theme by trying to make a correlation between this subject and the issue of parental migration and school integration of children following this process. Within the family, each member has to perform certain roles, and if one or both parents leave, such roles will be redistributed to the parent who is left at home, to those in whose care the children are left or even to the children if they were not left to anybody’s care. Thus, if parents choose to go abroad to find a job, children will have to adapt to the new family situation.
