Summary/Abstract: The peak of Eneolithic Art in our country, the entire Cucuteni culture is a proof of the enlargement of aesthetic taste of the primitive man. This paper will not be reduced to the entire Cucuteni ceramics, the most interesting Neolithic ceramics from the Balcans, but only to its first phase, A, and to its specific elements. A brief enumeration of them would comprise the following: the qualitative technical step forward of obtaining pots, special forms, painting before burning (but polychrome painting itself is a novelty of the culture even from the first phase), the spreading of the decor of the type endless carpet, the harmony, the delicacy and the originality of the dynamic combination of various and dynamic motifs, among which the relief modelling of zoomorphic representations and even anthropomorphic on the pots, and also pots which are which are artistically moulded – all these represent the topic of the present paper.
