Summary/Abstract: The loss event in which the claimant sustained injuries occurred abroad. According to the court’s interpretation, the loss occurred abroad, and not in the Republic of Croatia, because the place of loss occurrence is the place in which injuries have been sustained, and not the place where further consequences of injuring have manifested themselves. Therefore, no court in the Republic of Croatia has jurisdiction in this matter.
