ERUDITION AS AN AESTHETIC EXPERIENCE

Summary/Abstract: Our study aims to describe the work of the essayist and philosopher Andrei Pleşu, from the perspective of some dominant ideas, of some relevant working methods, but also from the angle of style, a seductive style with a fascinating phrase and a supple handling of the concepts. Hard to be surprised in a single pattern, Andrei's work went out to be remarked by rigor, seduction of ideas and passion of argumentation. Erudition is thus transformed into aesthetic experience.
