The literary originality of “love of comedies” in Celestina elestina

Summary/Abstract: Th e Celestina’s link with the Roman comedy contains in itself many of the most interesting unknowns that the work presents. One of them, undoubtedly, is the description and development that Tragicomedy makes of the love between its characters. Th is article emphasizes Celestina’s close relationship with the Latin sources of Plauto and Terencio, and it tries to elucidate the love model used by Fernando de Rojas in the development of the work.
