Summary/Abstract: In this article it was handled the family problems in the frame of theoretical approaches of sociology and it was set fort the socio-cultural basis of Turkish family structures. It was emphasized on the differentiation on the Turkish family structures in the process of social change. Especially, it was identified the attitudes and behaviours in the family relation, and highlighted their reflection on daily religious life. In the process of mod-ernisation, institution of family was affected in terms of family interrelationship. It was seen that while the social influence of religion on family interrelationship was weakened, the religion has become the matter of individual perception and interpretation.
