Summary/Abstract: Our study is an overview of the themes approached by articles published by professors in Iași, such as Orest Tafrali (1876-1937), Ion Găvănescul (1859-1949) and Ion Ursu (1875-1925), who were settled in the capital of France during the World War First. This is an analysis that reflects the direct perspective of the articles signed by those three, in “La Roumanie” newspaper and how it was reflected the activity of professors from Iași during their mission. We have mentioned here the professors recruited for the Romanian Press Service at the beginning of the war and who afterwars joined the university mission of France, thus explaining the reasons of such a mission.
