Yet Another Poet in Ranjina’s Codex

Summary/Abstract: This essay discusses the very beginnings of Croatian renaissance literature, collected in Ranjina’s Codex of Poetry. It has been discovered that Mato Hispani of Dubrovnik has also been represented in the collection. Other new insights into the structure and the formation of the Codex further our understanding of the poetic structure of the specific poems as well as of other works linked to them.
