Summary/Abstract: One of the consequences of the globalization process is multiculturalism. Every day, indifferent contexts, we come in contact with people from other cultures and nationalities. The questionthat arises is how do we interact with each other by leaving aside cultural differences, how can wecreate a multicultural spirit? The answer I propose is that this multicultural spirit can be developedthrough higher education in the light of the internationalization process. To test my hypothesis I willtake as case study Romania, a country where the Romanians represents the majority and where thedevelopment of the multicultural spirit is nevertheless necessary if one thinks that we develop ourdaily activity in a deeply multicultural context. The study I am proposing is interdisciplinary, withelements belonging to both the cultural studies field and to the education sciences.
