Summary/Abstract: The employer brand is an important element to be taken into consideration by the management due to its influence in the attraction and retention of talented employees. The purpose of this paper is to explore the dimensions of the employer brand from the perspective of Romanian employees in the IT industry. In order to identify functional benefits components, economic benefits components and psychological benefits components we conducted an exploratory factor analysis using the Principal Component technique and Varimax rotation with Kaiser Normalization method. The 2 factors of the functional benefits component are company values and factor 2 training and development. The economic factors are bonuses and other economic benefits and the second factor insurances. The psychological benefits also include 2 factors: employees’ recognition and good working conditions.
