Summary/Abstract: The article aims to provide knowledge covering practical and theoretical aspects of civil-military cooperation (CIMIC) in the process of maintaining international security. The presented experiences were collected during conducting operational tasks by the Polish Military Contingents outside Poland. Armed conflicts and wars are permanently included in the 21st century calendar. The participation of the Polish Armed Forces in stabilization operations and crisis response operations have indicated that the use of military force should be supported by elements of civil-military cooperation.
