Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on connectivity issues and particularly on connectors as linking devices which enable the structural organization of argumentation. The first part discusses theoretical aspects of connectivity, connectors and the structure of argumentation. The second part describes the role and structural (meta)functions of connectors in argumentation by analyzing several short excerpts.
