Summary/Abstract: The method of hortitherapy in family education is a new approach in pedagogy. In the article of scientific reflection, the concept of the family system and then its basic properties were subjected. The family system is understood as one of the approaches to understanding the family. It is presented as a natural system taken from biological sciences and used in social sciences and humanities. Next, attention was paid to the new model of therapy, which is hortitherapy or garden treatment. It is a new form of help used in the treatment of people suffering from various diseases, but it also serves in family therapy. This aspect was taken in the last part of the article. Hortitherapy is helpful especially in emotional, emotional, social, moral and spiritual education.
