Summary/Abstract: Metropolitan bishop Nicolae Colan (1893-1967) was an outstanding personality of the Romanian Orthodox Church in the twentieth century. He pastored the diocese of Cluj between 1936-1957. In 1957 he was elected Metropolitan of Transylvania. In this text we present some testimonials of Archbishop Justinian Chira (1921-2016) who has enjoyed this „wonderful encounter „Nicolae Colan.
