Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the events of 1918 in relation to release, repatriation and partial reintegration of the Austro-Hungarian prisoners of war through their involvement in the military and paramilitary activities during Civil War in Siberia and the Far East. Among them, there were representatives of the East European “lost generation” who had spent their young years in enduring battles of the First World War and misery of captivity.
