Summary/Abstract: As suggested by the title, this text features new archival sources, which I consider relevant for the research efforts dedicated to the First World War. More precisely, I refer to archival documents and funds on the Romanian involvement in the war and mostly to the period of retreat to Moldavia (1916-1918), following the disastrous evolutions on the front. The sources taken into account belong to the Archive of the National Red Cross Society in Romania and to the National Archives of France (Paris-Pierrefitte sur Seine), which may provide new and useful information for any research endeavour focusing on the first global conflagration.
